Pitch It Fab It
Pitch It Fab It is a fast and interactive evening of pitches in which people with products in the early stages of development compete for a chance to collaborate with UVM’s Instrumentation and Modeling Facility (IMF) and Generator to bring their product to market.
Reckless Ideas is a speaker series featuring a diverse mix of Burlington’s top thinkers and innovators at the intersection of design and science, created in collaboration with UVM’s Complex Systems Center and Champlain College’s MFA in Emergent Media.
Design Lab partners Generator’s maker-educators with school educators, after school programs, and other non-profits to provide engaging hands-on STEAM workshops (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) to students in grades seven through twelve.
Mentor Days brings regional mentor programs to Generator’s facility for hands-on maker activities to increase youth access to STEAM education and increase social capital by providing structured time, resources, and space for mentor programs to innovate and learn together.
The Artist-in-Residence program helps artists, designers, and entrepreneurs advance and realize innovative ideas by providing access to Generator’s facilities, tools, and collaborative hivemind.
