Jewelry Instructor
Generator is seeking a part-time Jewelry & Metalsmithing Instructor in Burlington, VT. This is a contract/part-time opportunity teaching beginners how to safely use Generator’s jewelry studio.
The ideal person has hands-on experience with jeweler’s tools (saws, flex shaft, rolling mill, acetylene torch, etc.), knows how to solder and anneal, and is comfortable teaching beginners in a safe manner. Training is available, so experience with some of our more niche equipment is not required, but would be beneficial.
This is a teach, demonstrate, and keep things safe kind of role, and would be a great fit for someone with a jewelry/metalsmithing background who also enjoys sharing their craft.
