Event Space

The Flex Space is a large, empty space that’s great for presentations, lectures, performances, installations, and group activities. The Flex Space has it’s own set of double doors accessible in Generator’s lobby, as well as dividing curtains; it is perfect for an event that wants to be more contained from Generator’s regular operations. The Flex Space is a multi-use Champlain College facility connected to, maintained, and operated by Generator, and so it is more available in the summer months than during the regular school year.

Our bright and airy conference room offers the essential elements for meetings: outlets, a conference phone, a whole whiteboard wall, and a screen for presentations and video conferencing. The conference room is next to the kitchen for quick coffee and tea access and easy snack preparation. Bathrooms are around the corner, and glass doors allow attendees to watch the comings-and-goings of Generator members and their projects.

Our Great Hall is at the center of Generator and is home to many of our signature events and lecture series. The large open space is flanked by artist studios, rapid prototyping equipment, the learning lab and conference room, and our general tool wall, making it an interesting and energetic space to host an event.

Our Learning Lab offers eight computers with internet access and a suite of professional design software. The learning lab is great for teaching a computer-based class or tackling a team project in a new environment.
