Here at Generator we are always eager to explore new collaborations with universities and colleges that share our vision of empowering students, and helping them develop the skills necessary to be successful in their professional lives. Currently, we maintain active partnerships with the University of Vermont and Champlain College, and offer specialized membership programs designed to support their unique students’ needs.

UVM Student Membership
The University of Vermont also makes available a limited number of student memberships every school year. The application is open to all full time undergraduate students who are in good standing, their 2nd/3rd/or 4th year, and a member of a Career Interest Group.
Selected applicants will receive:
- FREE membership for 10-months (September 14, 2026 – July 18, 2027)
- TWO FREE Tool Trainings on Generator’s rapid prototyping tools which include: 3D printing, laser cutting/engraving, vinyl cutting, sewing, and electronics.
- Wi-Fi and access to our computer lab with Adobe Creative Suite and all of the 3D & CAD software necessary to develop designs and run any of our machines.
- Generator facility access from 6am-10pm with an access card
Applications open August 17, 2026 and will remain open until all spots are full!
After applying keep an eye on your email inbox. Memberships are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis. Approval typically takes 1-3 business days assuming there is space and an the applicant meets all of the necessary requirements.
