In addition to our Tool Trainings and Workshops, Generator hosts a wide variety of events: from our regular Tours and Member Orientations, to more specialized offerings. Read more about the different types below and scroll down to the bottom of the page to see which are coming up and to register.

Questions regarding Generator events can be emailed to our Program Coordinator, Sam Graulty.

Prospective members or simply community members looking to learn more are encouraged to attend tours. Led by Generator staff, these weekly tours give an overview of our facility. Participants will learn about the tools and programming we have on offer.

Member Orientations

Orientations allow members who are just coming aboard to learn about all the ins and outs of Generator. Our Membership and Volunteer Coordinator will take you through all you need to know to hit the ground running. Please note: these are for new members who have begun the process of joining. To learn more about becoming a member, head to our Membership Page.

Member Night

Member Night is a chance for Generator’s Members to connect, see the amazing things people are working on, and hear from Generator’s leadership about the latest news and developments.

Open Studio

Open Studio time happens across all our different shops. During these regular offerings,  both members and prospective members can get technical support from the space’s Shop Lead. It’s an opportunity to have a skilled user available to bounce ideas off of, double check techniques and just connect more! Open studio is a shared time, and not a private lesson, so attendees must be sure to share the time equitably. Learn more about Open Studio CLICK HERE.

Special Events

In addition to the events associated with our Programs, Generator hosts special events throughout the year. They can range from speakers to annual events like the South End Art Hop. See the calendar below to learn more.
