Class Attendee Resources

Thank you for registering for a Training or Workshop with Generator!

Please read through the information below and pay special attention to info for any shop you will be active in. Doing your homework now will ensure you have a great experience and are prepared to take full advantage of your class.

Arriving
Generator is located at 40 Sears Lane in Burlington. You can find additional arrival and parking info HERE.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled start time. Our building doors will be locked, but ring the doorbell and someone will let you in. If you’re not sure where to go, ask the person who let you in. The listing for your event will have a photo of your instructor to help you know who to look for.

What To Bring
Be sure you have all you’ll need to be comfortable throughout the class. Some classes are longer, so a water bottle and snacks are welcome and encouraged. Paper and pen are always useful for note taking, as is your phone for capturing photos or video of certain processes or techniques.

What To Wear
The specifics for each shop and listed below, but in general, please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and avoid loose-fitting clothing, and any dangly jewelry or accessories. If you have long hair, it’s best kept up and out of the way.

After Your Course
After your course, please consider completing our feedback survey in order to help us improve our offerings.

Additionally, you can continue being involved at Generator by becoming a member or volunteer, and you can stay in touch via Instagram or Facebook, or by signing up for our weekly e-newsletter.

Thank you again for choosing to learn a new skill at Generator.
