Finding us is easy, but parking is another story. Generator is tucked into Burlington’s South End Arts District, and like much of the neighborhood, parking can feel a bit like a puzzle at first. But don’t stress! Below we’ve put together everything you’ll need to navigate your way to a parking spot before heading inside.
Our Location
Generator is located at 40 Sears Lane in Burlington’s South End Arts District, just off Pine Street.
We’re just a stone’s throw away from Zero Gravity, City Market, Champlain College’s Miller Center, Lake Champlain Chocolates, and Burlington Furniture.
Our doors are locked. Just ring the bell and someone will let you in!
Facility Entrances
The Generator facility has two entrances.
South Entrance
If you put “Generator Makerspace” into your device and navigate to our location. This is where you’ll find yourself. There are (5) parking spots at this location, and this entrance provides accessible access to our facility.
North Entrance
This entrance is accessed from the (8) parking spaces off the Champlain Miller Center Parking Lot. There is a short flight of steps leading up to our door at this location. We tend to consider this entrance our “Main” entrance.
Accessible Entrance & Parking
We are committed to making our space welcoming for everyone. An accessible entrance is available for visitors who need step-free access.
To use the accessible entrance, please park on the south side of our building in the lot available from our Sears Ln entrance (map).

Parking
Please use either the (10) Generator-dedicated spaces in the parking lot by the the Champlain College Miller Center (Map) or the (5) Generator-dedicated spaces in the parking lot off of Sears Lane (Map).
If both of these lots are full, spillover parking is available at Hula (Map). When using this area, please only park south of the bus parking in the area indicated by the green Champlain College signs.
