Tool Trainings
Generator tool trainings are intended to provide basic skill and safety training on a specific set of tools at Generator. Independent use of tools at Generator is only granted once a member successfully completes the respective tool training. Certain tool trainings are more popular than others and this popularity will be reflected in how frequently we offer specific trainings.

Tool Trainings are not associated with any professional or industry-level certification status, nor is any document issued upon completion.
Non-Members are welcome to take any tool training or class at Generator but cannot access our space or tools until they become a member! Individuals must become a Generator member within 3 months of taking a training for the certification to be valid.
Members receive a 10% discount on all trainings and workshops, if logged into their member account.
Workshops
Workshops are hands-on, project-based educational experiences. Participants will leave with a finished item or new skill, increased confidence, and will hopefully be inspired to dream up new ideas.
Most workshops are designed to require little to no previous experience with the equipment used, and are great for folks looking to expand their skillset, or who simply want to experience making something specific in a supportive atmosphere!
Private Lessons & Group Workshops
Do you have a specific project you are wanting to do, or a skill you would like to develop? Maybe you are looking to do for a fun activity with your friends, or schedule a unique team building or professional development experience?

Refund Policy
Refunds, minus 20%, are available up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of a training or workshop.
No refunds are allowed within 48 hrs of the scheduled start time of a training or workshop.
No refunds are given for course sessions not attended, and we cannot prorate a course’s cost for missed sessions.
A full refund will be provided if a course is cancelled.

Missed Class Policy
There are no refunds, transfers, make-ups or deferments for missed classes. If you are are going to be late or miss the class entirely, please call Generator at (802) 540-0761 to let the instructor know.
Cancellation Policy
Generator reserves the right to cancel any class for any reason. Students enrolled in a class which is canceled will be notified by phone or email if a valid phone or email address has been provided. Students enrolled in a canceled class will be offered a full refund or class credit.
