Are you a Maker, Artist, Crafter or Coder?

Generator, a nonprofit maker space in Burlington, VT, is looking for experienced artists, crafters, coders and others with expert skills to join our teaching team.  Teach what you know and love, in a creative and inspiring environment that includes a maker space, jewelry studio and media arts lab.

Job Description:
We are looking for instructors with a background in any or all of the following:  

• Traditional Shop Arts (Wood, Metal, Machine, etc.)
• Rapid Prototyping (3-D Printing, Laser Cutter)
• Jewelry Making
• Sewing and Textiles
• Coding (Scratch, Java, Python, etc.)
• Minecraft, Animation
• Circuits and Electronics
• Robotics, and other STEAM and maker-focused disciplines.

Teaching experience is strongly preferred, but not always necessary.  We can work with you to develop a course offering and provide the classroom structure you’ll need to confidently share your skills.

•  Flexible hours and competitive pay, in a relaxed but busy warehouse setting*
