AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Program) equips select high-school students with the skills to program and operate advanced manufacturing equipment, qualifying them for historically hard-to-fill manufacturing jobs in Vermont.
Through our collaboration with Spaulding High School in Barre, Vermont we train about thirty students each year in advanced-manufacturing and design-thinking workshops and then connect them with internships at local manufacturers.
We are expanding the program to include three more schools and a grand total of more than fifty students in the 2019-2020 school year.
