The Model 300 Floor Sentry Double is uniquely designed to provide portable fume extraction to two operators simultaneously. Two flame-retardant, self-supportive flex arms provide equal suction at both inlets, which directs contaminants into the patented filtration system. Typical applications for this unit include soldering, welding, chemical fumes, light grinding, solvent and epoxy fume control, dust, pharmaceutical powders and many other procedures that involve the emission particulate and fume. Standard filtration options for this system include: HEPA [up to 99.97% efficient on particles 0.3 microns and larger], ASHRAE [up to 95% efficient on particles 0.5 microns and larger], Activated Carbon, and specialty-blended filter media [i.e. Acid Gas, Mercury, Aldehyde, Ammmonia]. The Floor Sentry Double allows multiple filter media to be housed inside the filter chamber for applications that emit both particulates and fumes. This unit features heavy-duty casters for easy mobility, flex arms that are capable of 360 degree rotation, and an infinitely-adjustable variable speed controller.
AIR VOLUME: Variable Speed Control Standard on 115V: 175 CFM High Per Arm, Down to 50 CFM Low
SOUND LEVEL: 61 to 66 dba (Blower Speed: Low to High)
ELECTRICAL: 115/1/60, 2 amps, 8’ grounded power cord with NEMA 5-15P Plug
DIMENSIONS: 15.5” Length (Including Control Box), 13” Width, 16.5” Height; Arms: 4“ Dia., 48” Long Fire-Retardant Flex Hose
CABINET MATERIAL: 16 ga. Carbon Steel with Polyester, Epoxy Coating on all surfaces
WEIGHT: Approx. 40 - 55 lbs.
Position hose near source of fumes, turn on and rotate power switch to the desired fan speed.
Filter must be changed out regularly. Filter changes will vary by application and usage. WARNING BIOHAZARD: DIRTY FILTERS MAY BE CONTAMINATED. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during filter changes.
FILTER REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:
The motors do not require significant routine maintenance. Occasionally monitor air inlet perforations, fan blades, and motor to ensure excessive particulate build up has not occurred. If there is a noticeable amount of fan vibration, inspect fan and cabinet for particulate build up. Contact factory if additional assistance is required.
Occasionally, due to over-extension the flex hose may “pop apart.” When this happens DO NOT change the diameter of the flex hose by twisting the flex at the open sections. Simply, realign open ends and snap together. Although simple, this procedure may take two operators to complete. Contact SAS for further assistance.
